The Story
The Seiko Prospex HBC007J brings a GMT function to the classic Alpinist design, letting you track two time zones at once — handy for travel or keeping tabs on time back home. It's powered by the automatic Calibre 6R54, which winds naturally as you wear it and also supports manual winding, with a generous 72-hour power reserve if you take it off for the weekend. The 39.5mm stainless steel case is comfortable for most wrist sizes and finished with a super-hard coating for extra scratch resistance. A curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating keeps the dial easy to read, and the case is water resistant to 200 metres. The green dial is paired with gold-tone hands and hour markers, along with an internal rotating compass bezel — a nod to the Alpinist's outdoor heritage — operated by a second crown at the 4 o'clock position. A date window sits discreetly between 4 and 5 o'clock, and the movement can be viewed through the exhibition case back. It's fitted with a brown leather strap, finished with white stitching and a secure three-fold clasp.
